Riddles always obsessed me as a child. We all ask RIDDLES, don't we ? And we know them... A body of lore possessed by every kiddie.

I've always been the Riddler. I always will be.

Maybe it started very young, tricking playmates with fake BRAIN TEASERS...

Or cheating in a school history contest, photographing a JIGSAW PUZZLE...

Maybe I was a COMPUTER GAME DESIGNER, Edward Nygma, the Puzzle King, Conundrum Champion, Wizard of Quiz... Maybe I decided to turn my talents to crime after I've been robbed of my game ideas by DAN MOCKRIDGE...

Maybe I wanted to join Gotham's world-famous carnival rogue gallery, and match wits with... with the BATMAN, for the glory...
